After almost 10 years as a classroom teacher, teaching grades preschool through third grade in Brooklyn, New York, Bronx, New York and Newark, New Jersey, she decided to follow her dreams and open up ZAM Learning Academy. Zollyann believes in innovative, parent-friendly approaches when it comes to early childhood learning. She loves children, and have a handsome little boy and two beautiful little girls of her own who was the inspiration for her preschool venture. She believes all children need a loving environment where they can be creative, flourish, learn and grow. Zollyann works hard to make ZAM Learning Academy a warm, loving place for the children and their families. With all of her knowledge and experience of early childhood Zollyann is a wonderful resource to parents and teachers. She is happy to spend her days witnessing children fall in love with learning!

Our Philosophy

Children need to go through a continuing, comprehensive and progressive development program which should cover

1) Social aspects - the ability to associate with others, play and share with them, and create and nurture lasting relationships.

2) Physical development or development of motor skills.

3) Creative skills or the development of the children's talents in music, art, reading, writing, singing and other creative talents.

4) Intellectual Skills - the ability to discern and make sense of the things around them.

5) Emotional Development - acquiring self-confidence and the ability to understand and cope with feelings.

Our Curriculum

We use an Inquiry-Based Curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. The Curriculum creates our teacher to be their most effective, while still honoring their creativity and respecting their critical role in making learning exciting and relevant for every child. It also helps our teachers build children’s confidence, creativity, critical thinking skills and promote positive outcomes.

Our Educators

Our Educators are experienced and certified professional in Education. Our provider and assistants are committed to providing an excellent education that meets each student’s interests, abilities, and needs. We are all highly trained and certified, up-to-date immunizations, background check, CPR certification, and additional training in a daycare and preschool setting.

Our home and play areas have age-appropriate specifications. Our home ensures children are comfortable and safe. We take cleanliness seriously and security for your child is our top priority.
